RND Launches Politics Podcast

RedaktionsNetzwerk Deutschland (RND) launched a new political podcast, "Wenn Sie wüssten . . ." (If you knew...), on Tuesday, June 30. The podcast is hosted by RND's editor-in-chief Eva Quadbeck, deputy head of the Berlin office Kristina Dunz, and documentary filmmaker Stephan Lamby.

The podcast aims to reveal the inner workings of political business and explore the motivations of politicians. RND stated the format was developed in collaboration with "users" and addresses a demand in the market for deeper insights into political decision-making.

RND Fortis, the innovation unit of Madsack Mediengruppe, assisted in the podcast's development. Managing director Lina Timm highlighted the hosts' extensive experience in political reporting, which provides a unique perspective on how political decisions are formed.

Editor-in-chief Sven Oliver Clausen described the podcast as a resource for individuals seeking well-informed opinions. RND reports that its digital offerings reach 100 million monthly visits.
