RNZ Podcast Analyzes Kretschmann's Legacy and the 2026 State Elections

Rhein-Neckar-Zeitung (RNZ) has released a new podcast series, "Kretschmanns Erbe" (Kretschmann's Legacy), in anticipation of the 2026 state elections in Baden-Württemberg. The podcast delves into the 15-year political era of Minister-President Winfried Kretschmann and examines potential successors for the upcoming electoral period.

The project features political editor Sören Sgries and political scientist Felix Hörisch from the Hochschule der Bundesagentur für Arbeit in Mannheim. Together, they offer an analytical look at Kretschmann's time in office, introduce current leading candidates, and discuss their strengths and weaknesses. The roles and strategies of opposition parties are also addressed.
