Roamy Offers International eSIM Services for Over 200 Destinations

Australian technology firm Roamy has broadened its mobile connectivity offerings. The company announced its international eSIM solutions now cover more than 200 travel destinations worldwide, achieved through partnerships with several large global telecommunications operators.

Roamy aims to provide travelers with a cost-effective way to stay connected while abroad. The service provides international eSIMs designed to bypass traditional roaming charges and hidden fees. The coverage includes popular destinations such as China, Europe, India, Japan, and the United States.

Utilizing the service requires a compatible device. Roamy provides a tool on its website for users to check eSIM compatibility using their device's EID number. The company also notes that certain iPhone models manufactured for China, Hong Kong, or Macau, and some Samsung Galaxy devices made for the US market, may not support eSIM technology.

For devices that are not eSIM compatible, Roamy offers a range of physical SIM cards as an alternative. These are delivered to customers before their departure. The company emphasizes that a customer's device must be unlocked from their Australian network carrier for any international SIM or eSIM to function.
