Robert Stekovic Appointed Managing Director of Snabbgross
Robert Stekovic has been appointed as the new Managing Director of Snabbgross and will join Axfood's Executive Committee. He will assume the role no later than August 1, 2027.
Robert Stekovic has been appointed as the new Managing Director of Snabbgross and will become a member of Axfood's Executive Committee. Stekovic joins from Lidl, where he held various leadership positions in purchasing, marketing, sales, customer strategy, and commercial development at both national and international levels.
Stekovic is set to take over as the Managing Director of Snabbgross by August 1, 2027, at the latest. As of the turn of the year, Snabbgross will encompass both the Axfood Group's wholesale operations and its convenience store operations.
The appointment comes as Snabbgross prepares to integrate its wholesale and convenience retail segments. Stekovic's extensive background in diverse areas of the retail sector is expected to guide the company through this transitional phase and contribute to its future market strategy.
