Roblox Investors Have August 7 Deadline to Lead Lawsuit

Robbins Geller Rudman & Dowd LLP announced on July 24, 2026, that purchasers or acquirers of Roblox Corporation (NYSE: RBLX) common stock between October 30, 2025, and April 30, 2026, who suffered substantial losses, have until August 7, 2026, to seek appointment as lead plaintiff in a class action lawsuit.

The lawsuit, captioned Mukherjee v. Roblox Corporation, charges Roblox and certain of its executive officers with violations of the Securities Exchange Act of 1934. Allegations claim defendants made false or misleading statements and failed to disclose that they created a false impression of possessing reliable information regarding Roblox's bookings growth expectations and the overall impact of an age verification rollout. The company is accused of minimizing risks associated with this rollout and its potential consequences.

Furthermore, the suit contends that Roblox misled investors while discussing tailwinds from the age verification process, while simultaneously being "enormously bullish" on its tech rollouts. The company is alleged to have relied too heavily on viral events to drive growth, failing to communicate to investors the potential knock-on impacts of the age verification rollout, including effects on platform ratings, engagement, and overall public perception.

On April 30, 2026, Roblox announced its first quarter 2026 results, reporting declines in revenue guidance and projected annual bookings growth. Reductions in engagement, app store ratings, and organic sign-ups as a result of the age verification rollout were also reportedly disclosed. Following this news, Roblox's stock price fell more than 18%.

Investors who purchased Roblox common stock during the Class Period are invited to submit their information to potentially be appointed lead plaintiff. This role involves directing the litigation on behalf of all class members. An investor's ability to share in any potential future recovery is not dependent upon serving as lead plaintiff.
