Robo.ai breaks ground on industrial park in UAE

Robo.ai Inc. held a groundbreaking ceremony on September 25, 2026, in Umm Al Quwain, United Arab Emirates, for Phase I of the ALIF Holding Group Industrial Park. The initial phase, covering approximately 8,845 square meters, will involve refurbishing existing factory premises to establish local integration and manufacturing capabilities for ALIF Holding's industrial projects.

The Marine Security Project is slated to be the first tenant, advancing Robo.ai's strategy for advanced manufacturing in the region. The industrial park is a key component of ALIF Holding's plan to operationalize its projects and create a local industrial platform. For Robo.ai, the park supports the industrial application of its technologies and products within the UAE, facilitating commercialization with government, infrastructure, and industrial clients.

Phase I will focus on repurposing existing factory buildings. Alif Maritec, a subsidiary focused on marine security and intelligent maritime infrastructure, is expected to be the first project to occupy the refurbished space. The park's planned capabilities aim to support marine oil spill response, land border security, and AI-enabled defense systems, along with critical infrastructure monitoring.

The industrial park is planned in three phases. Phase I involves refurbishment of existing facilities, Phase II will construct new factory buildings, and Phase III will provide space for future expansion. ALIF Holding aims to have at least three project companies operating within the park by the end of 2026.

The groundbreaking was attended by H.E. Dr. Ahmed Naser Al-Raisi, Chairman of ALIF Holding. Dr. Jasem Al Mansoori, CEO of ALIF Holding, stated, "This project marks a new beginning for ALIF in the industrial sector. Our goal is to combine advanced technologies with local manufacturing and build businesses that create long-term value for the UAE while serving international markets."
