Robo.ai Inc. has announced plans for its majority-owned subsidiary, ALIF Holding, to establish ALIF Composites in the United Arab Emirates. Production is slated to commence in the fourth quarter of 2026, with an objective of achieving an annual manufacturing capacity of 10 million square meters of composite raw materials by 2027. This expansion aims to bolster the group's advanced manufacturing sector.
The ALIF Composites facility will be located within the ALIF Holding Group Industrial Park in Umm Al Quwain. Groundbreaking for Phase I of the park occurred on September 25, 2026. The planned product portfolio includes carbon fiber composites, prepregs, custom components, and engineering services for clients in the marine, mobility, energy, and industrial markets.
The initiative is designed to develop capabilities in materials manufacturing and engineered product delivery, complementing ALIF Maritec's planned intelligent systems business. ALIF Holding will oversee production readiness, product validation, and customer development efforts, aiming to transform manufacturing capabilities into recurring supply business and a new growth avenue for Robo.ai.
