Roborock Enhances Robot Vacuum Mopping with SpiraFlow 2.0 System
Roborock has introduced its new SpiraFlow 2.0 system, designed to improve the floor washing capabilities of its robot vacuums. The system utilizes pressurized water and enhanced roller pressure to more effectively lift dirt from hard floors.

Roborock, a manufacturer of robot vacuums, has unveiled its SpiraFlow 2.0 system, aiming to boost the floor washing performance of its devices. The new system employs pressurized water and enhanced downward pressure to tackle dirt and stains on hard floor surfaces.
SpiraFlow 2.0 distributes clean water through 16 hydration points evenly across the roller, enabling consistent and full-width washing. It also features a precision scraper to remove excess water, preventing drips and ensuring the roller remains adequately damp for effective mopping. Roborock states this allows for the removal of dirt, sticky messes, and spills like coffee or soy sauce in a single pass.
The manufacturer indicates the motor-driven roller spins at 240 RPM and applies up to 2.5 times more downward mopping pressure compared to previous models. The system collects dirty water and debris into a separate tank, which is claimed to maintain clean mop effectiveness throughout the cleaning cycle. The technology is designed to handle everyday messes such as pet paw prints, food stains, and bathroom grime.
According to Roborock, SpiraFlow 2.0 represents an evolution from the company's prior technology. The company asserts the new system offers improved roller hydration, faster rotation speed, and fewer water spots compared to older versions, leading to a cleaner finish.
The SpiraFlow 2.0 technology is integrated into Roborock's Qrevo Edge 2 Flow and Qrevo Curv 2 Flow models. Roborock focuses on the development of robot vacuums and related cleaning solutions.
