Roborock Measures Outdoor Advertising Impact in France

Roborock, a manufacturer of smart home appliances, has assessed the results of its outdoor advertising (OOH) and digital outdoor advertising (DOOH) campaigns in France. The campaigns aimed to increase brand awareness and sales, particularly during the Black Friday and holiday seasons.

The campaign follow-ups, conducted by research firm Attest, focused on high-income households with children and pets, aged 36 to 44. The first campaign, targeted at robot vacuum sales around Black Friday, utilized 4,297 static advertising faces in major French cities over one week. The second campaign, aimed at boosting brand visibility, ran on 198 digital screens in Paris suburbs, Lyon, Marseille, and Bordeaux for four weeks.

The campaign results indicated a significant increase in brand awareness. The first campaign raised awareness from 20% to 32%, and the second campaign from 18% to 26% among those who recalled the advertisements. Brand affinity also saw substantial growth, increasing by +20 points for the first campaign and +29 points for the second.

Purchase intention improved notably. The first campaign lifted willingness to buy from 54% to 84%, and the second from 46% to 61%. JCDecaux stated that the combination of OOH and DOOH proved effective in enhancing the brand's visibility, awareness, and purchase intent during key periods.
