Robot AI Developer Ruoyu Secures Pre-A Funding Led by Sunway Communication
Chinese robot AI developer Ruoyu Technology has completed a significant Pre-A funding round. Sunway Communication led the round, which included several other investors.
Shenzhen-based robot AI developer Ruoyu Technology has completed a significant Pre-A funding round, led by Sunway Communication. The news was reported by 36Kr on October 15. Other investors participating in the round included Jinmu Capital, Qindao Capital, Huanghai Capital, and Zhongchuang Capital.
Founded in 2023 and incubated by Harbin Institute of Technology, Shenzhen, Ruoyu develops AI systems designed to help robots perceive environments, plan tasks, and control physical actions. The company's Jiutian robot "brain" integrates cloud-based planning with local perception and control capabilities.
Ruoyu has initially focused on robotic refueling as a commercial application, testing an explosion-protected system at a station in Foshan. The company plans to utilize the new funding to enhance its robot AI, gather operational data from real-world deployments, and expand its commercialization efforts.
