Robot Maker AGIBOT Nears Funding Round at RMB 50 Billion Valuation
Chinese AI robot maker AGIBOT is nearing the completion of a new funding round of approximately RMB 1 billion to RMB 1.5 billion. The company's valuation is reported to be around RMB 50 billion.
Chinese AI robot manufacturer AGIBOT is reportedly close to finalizing a new funding round valued at approximately RMB 1 billion to RMB 1.5 billion. Investors cited by Caijing suggest this would place the company's valuation at around RMB 50 billion.
Founded in 2023, AGIBOT had begun preparations for a listing in Hong Kong in July. However, the new financing may push its initial public offering beyond the end of 2026, according to an investor. This is due to a requirement for a 120-day interval between the completion of pre-IPO financing and the actual listing, unless an exemption is granted.
The company reported revenues of RMB 1.05 billion for the year 2025. AGIBOT declined to provide comments on the ongoing financing round, its valuation, or the progress of its IPO plans.
