Robotics tactile sensing startup MoSense secures 100 million RMB in funding
Shanghai-based developer MoSense has raised approximately 100 million RMB in an angel-plus funding round to advance its robotic electronic skin technology.

Shanghai-based tactile sensing developer MoSense has closed an angel-plus funding round totaling roughly 100 million RMB. The round was led by CDH Investments and Oasis Capital, with participation from LimX Dynamics, Loongson Venture Capital, CAS Star, Hua Capital, and Pudong Venture Capital Group.
Founded in 2026 by researchers from the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, MoSense specializes in electronic skin systems designed to grant robots a sense of physical contact. The company produces MoSkin hardware, which integrates sensing capabilities directly into structural components, and MoTact software, which processes tactile data signals.
The firm is currently collaborating with robotics manufacturers to integrate these systems into commercial hardware. Additionally, MoSense is developing MoWorld, an AI-driven model designed to utilize tactile feedback to refine robot motion control. This capital infusion will support further research and the scaling of its sensing solutions.
