Rockstar Releases Grand Theft Auto VI Extended Look Trailer

Rockstar Games has officially released its long-awaited "extended look" at Grand Theft Auto VI on YouTube and its website, as promised. The nearly 27-minute preview, which exclusively features footage captured from the PlayStation 5 version of the game, offers the first deep dive into the upcoming title.

The video initially premiered on Netflix, but its subsequent availability on YouTube and other platforms has allowed a wider audience to view it. The preview focuses more on the game's atmosphere, its protagonists Lucia Camiños and Jason Duval, and the environments of its setting rather than a deep exploration of specific game mechanics.

Grand Theft Auto VI is expected to continue the series' signature open-world sandbox style, but the new trailer hints at a more nuanced narrative and an even more detailed game world. Rockstar Games has not yet announced an official release date for the game, but it is anticipated to launch in 2025.
