Rohde & Schwarz acquired Munich Innovation Labs GmbH, a software specialist in AI-based solutions for security, on October 31, 2025. The acquisition enhances R&S's market position in data analytics and OSINT.

Rohde & Schwarz GmbH & Co. KG announced on November 3, 2025, its acquisition of Munich Innovation Labs GmbH, a software specialist headquartered in Munich. The transaction, effective October 31, 2025, strengthens Rohde & Schwarz's capabilities in data analytics solutions, particularly in the field of open source intelligence (OSINT).
Founded in 2015, Munich Innovation Labs develops and markets AI-based software solutions tailored for domestic and international security applications. The company focuses on OSINT solutions while adhering to strict data protection and information law requirements. This acquisition aims to expand Rohde & Schwarz's portfolio and open new business opportunities.
Sebastian Richter, Vice President Monitoring and Analytics at Rohde & Schwarz, commented on the strategic importance of the acquisition.
