Rohde & Schwarz Adds Multi-Channel Pulse Analysis to FSWX Analyzer
Rohde & Schwarz has introduced the R&S FSWX-KM700 software option, enhancing its FSWX signal and spectrum analyzer with integrated multi-channel pulse analysis capabilities.
Munich – Rohde & Schwarz has released the R&S FSWX-KM700 option for its FSWX signal and spectrum analyzer, extending the device's capabilities for pulse signal testing and digital radio frequency memory (DRFM) jammer analysis.
The new option enables the measurement of key pulse parameters and the analysis of pulse trains. It assists in evaluating how DRFM jammers capture, reproduce, and manipulate radar pulses. Measurements include pulse width, amplitude, rise and fall times, and pulse repetition interval.
Combined with the FSWX's dual-channel, phase-coherent architecture, the R&S FSWX-KM700 allows for simultaneous analysis of both jammer input and output signals. This provides a comprehensive assessment of deceptive signal behavior and helps engineers verify that a jammer accurately reproduces the original radar pulse shape and timing.
The system can also analyze entire pulse trains, identifying pulse repetition frequency spectra and pulse-to-pulse variation data. It supports complex waveforms such as chirps and various modulation schemes used in modern radar systems. Rohde & Schwarz is showcasing the new option at the EuMW 2026 exhibition in London from October 6-8.
