German technology firm Rohde & Schwarz has announced several updates, including achieving the highest number of GCF validated 3GPP NR NTN test cases and supplying a security scanner to police.

The company announced it has achieved the highest number of Global Certification Forum (GCF) validated 3GPP NR NTN (Non-Terrestrial Networks) test cases for RF, RRM, and PCT domains. This highlights Rohde & Schwarz's position in the conformance testing of mobile communication standards, particularly for satellite and other non-terrestrial network applications.
In a separate development, Greater Manchester Police in the UK has installed the Rohde & Schwarz QPS201 security scanner. This device will be used as an additional screening step to check detainees for any concealed prohibited items, enhancing security within custody facilities.
