Rohde & Schwarz announces new technology developments

German technology company Rohde & Schwarz has issued several press releases detailing recent achievements across its product lines and client acquisitions.

The company announced it has achieved the highest number of Global Certification Forum (GCF) validated 3GPP NR NTN (Non-Terrestrial Networks) test cases for RF, RRM, and PCT domains. This highlights Rohde & Schwarz's position in the conformance testing of mobile communication standards, particularly for satellite and other non-terrestrial network applications.

In a separate development, Greater Manchester Police in the UK has installed the Rohde & Schwarz QPS201 security scanner. This device will be used as an additional screening step to check detainees for any concealed prohibited items, enhancing security within custody facilities.
