Rohde & Schwarz expands test equipment portfolio
Rohde & Schwarz has launched new products and options for its signal analyzers and amplifiers. The company is also focusing on 6G technology and satellite communications.
Munich – German technology firm Rohde & Schwarz has announced several new product developments. Recent releases include updates to the company's test and measurement equipment and strategic investments in future communication technologies.
The company is expanding its signal analyzer offerings with the introduction of the new R&S FSWX-KM700 pulse analysis option for the FSWX signal and spectrum analyzer. This enhancement improves testing capabilities for how Digital Radio Frequency Memory (DRFM) jammers capture, reproduce, and manipulate radar pulses.
In October 2026, Rohde & Schwarz will host its sixth Mobile Test Summit, focusing on the future of 6G technology. Registration is open for three virtual sessions. Additionally, the company is strengthening its position in satellite communications through the acquisition of Dresden-based deep-tech firms NEOSAT and PHYTRONIC. These companies are developing multi-antenna satellite systems and innovative transmission methods in space.
Rohde & Schwarz has also expanded its system amplifier portfolio with the new R&S SAM200 amplifier, supporting applications up to 53 GHz. The SAM200 is a robust solid-state amplifier featuring integrated power detection and a web-based user interface.
