Rohde & Schwarz presents solutions for mobile work and data security

Munich – Rohde & Schwarz is presenting new solutions for the network and security needs of companies and public authorities at the it-sa trade fair in Nuremberg, held from October 10-12. The company's Networks & Cybersecurity business unit, comprising Rohde & Schwarz Cybersecurity, LANCOM Systems, and Rohde & Schwarz SIT, is focusing on security for mobile working.

A key highlight is an ultra-mobile solution designed to secure iPhones and iPads. This all-in-one offering includes a VPN gateway approved by the German Federal Office for Information Security (BSI), mobile device management, and a managed service. It is aimed at organizations with high security requirements, ensuring maximum user-friendliness with minimal administrative effort for handling sensitive data.

LANCOM Systems will debut its new cloud-managed remote access solution, enabling both traditional VPN client functionality and a migration to a zero-trust security architecture. Additionally, LANCOM is showcasing its new 1800 "blackline" router series, designed for high-availability VPN connections via DSL, fiber optics, and mobile radio.

Rohde & Schwarz SIT will demonstrate its R&S®ELCRODAT 7-FN system, a market-available solution for secure voice and video communication of classified information. This all-IP platform provides end-to-end encryption for telephony, video transmissions, and messaging services up to the SECRET confidentiality level, ensuring data remains protected throughout its transmission.
