Rohde & Schwarz Showcases New Antennas and EMI Testing at APEMC 2026

Munich/Kuala Lumpur – German technology company Rohde & Schwarz will showcase its latest electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) testing solutions at the APEMC 2026 event in Kuala Lumpur. The symposium, taking place from May 4-7, 2026, at the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre (KLCC), features Rohde & Schwarz as a Silver Sponsor.

The company's presence at the event highlights its long-standing cooperation with IEEE committees and its role in shaping global EMC testing methodologies. APEMC gathers engineers, researchers, and academics focused on electromagnetic compatibility across various sectors.

At its booth A04, Rohde & Schwarz will feature two new high-gain antennas: the R&S HF1444G20 (EMS) and the R&S HF1444G14 (EMI). These antennas cover a frequency range from 14.9 GHz to 44 GHz, meeting requirements of CISPR 16-1-4 and CISPR 16-2-3 standards. The R&S HF1444G14 is designed for full compliance testing up to 44 GHz when used with the R&S ESW EMI test receiver. For EMS measurements according to MIL-STD-461H (released April 2026), the R&S HF1444G20 antenna and R&S SAM100 amplifier are presented.

A live demonstration will illustrate speed-optimized EMI testing, generating 3D emission plots using the R&S ELEKTRA test software, showcasing rapid device characterization for typical commercial EMI tests. Additionally, R&S RTO6 and MXO 5 oscilloscopes will be used in a joint demonstration with EMC Partner to verify the pulse output of their high-voltage ESD generator ESDEX, ensuring compliance with standards like IEC 61000-4-2.

Rohde & Schwarz engineers will also lead technical workshops and participate in an organized tour of actual EMC test facilities, demonstrating measurement setups and compliance workflows. The company aims to address the latest IEC, automotive, military, and avionics standards with these presentations.
