Technology firm Rohde & Schwarz has supplied a family of digital combat net radios (CNR) for the German Armed Forces' D-LBO program to modernize communications technology.

German technology company Rohde & Schwarz has signed an agreement to supply a family of digital combat net radios (CNR) for the German Armed Forces' Digitalization of Land-Based Operations (D-LBO) program. The company is delivering hundreds of communication devices for use by the German Army, simultaneously strengthening the nation's digital sovereignty.
The selected CNR system is based on the Joint Service Interoperable Radio Equipment (SVFuA). It enables secure and jam-resistant voice and data transmission, along with the use of national waveforms in parallel with the European ESSOR waveform. Equipment has already been delivered for numerous German Armed Forces operational platforms.
