Rohde & Schwarz to host 6G-focused Mobile Test Summit 2026

Munich โ€“ September 25, 2026 โ€“ Rohde & Schwarz will host its sixth Mobile Test Summit, a virtual global forum, in October, focusing on the future of 6G technology. The event will bring together industry leaders, technology experts, and testing professionals.

Participants can register for three online sessions taking place on October 7, 14, and 21. Each session will delve into one of the three pillars of the emerging 6G standard. The first session, on October 7, will cover AI-native RAN, which integrates network operations and AI computing on a single platform, aiming to enhance network performance and facilitate validation and testing.

The session on October 14 will focus on integrated sensing and communication (ISAC). This technology enables existing radio infrastructure to serve dual purposes, allowing for simultaneous data transmission and environmental sensing. The session will explore market outlooks, use cases, and testing requirements.

The final session, on October 21, will address non-terrestrial networks (NTN). NTN combines satellites, high-altitude platforms, and drones to extend wireless coverage to areas unreachable by terrestrial networks. This session will discuss market trends, deployment opportunities, and the technical challenges for achieving ubiquitous, uninterrupted connectivity.

The event aims to provide participants with a comprehensive understanding of the wireless communications ecosystem and the trajectory of 6G technology. Rohde & Schwarz will offer practical insights into the testing and validation demands as the industry moves towards commercial 6G.
