Rohde & Schwarz will present its latest air traffic control (ATC) solutions at the Airspace World 2023 event in Geneva from March 8-10. The company will feature its CERTIUM portfolio and introduce a new drone-based nav/drone analyzer.

Munich/Geneva – Rohde & Schwarz is set to exhibit its advanced air traffic control (ATC) technologies at Airspace World 2023, held at the Palexpo Exhibition Centre in Geneva from March 8 to 10. The company aims to highlight its comprehensive CERTIUM portfolio and other forward-looking solutions for air traffic management.
The CERTIUM suite encompasses communication systems from microphone to antenna. Among the showcased products are the R&S Series5200 radio, designed with integrated security features and offering wide VHF to UHF coverage, and the IP-based CERTIUM VCS voice communication system, which leverages IP technology for enhanced security and resilience.
A key introduction at the event will be the new R&S EVSD1000 VHF/UHF nav/drone analyzer. This device is intended for use on medium-sized drones to conduct measurements on instrument landing systems (ILS), ground-based augmentation systems (GBAS), and VHF omnirange (VOR) ground stations during their startup, maintenance, and servicing phases. It will also analyze ATC communication signals.
Rohde & Schwarz will also present other solutions including high-power HF transmitters, the R&S AVQA voice quality assurance system, aircraft identification and localization tools, drone detection and countermeasure systems, the SIA-AIR big data analytics platform, and the L-band Digital Aeronautical Communications System (LDACS). The company plans to host expert talks on resilient infrastructure for the future integrated airspace.
