Rohde & Schwarz to Showcase New Antennas and EMI Testing at APEMC 2026

Munich – German technology company Rohde & Schwarz is participating as a silver sponsor in the IEEE Asia-Pacific International Symposium on Electromagnetic Compatibility (APEMC) 2026 in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. The event is scheduled to take place from May 4 to May 7 at the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre (KLCC).

The company will showcase its latest electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) test solutions, designed to meet the needs of engineers in the consumer electronics, automotive, aerospace, and defense sectors. Featured will be two new high-gain antennas, the R&S HF1444G20 and R&S HF1444G14, covering a frequency range of 14.9 GHz to 44 GHz and meeting the requirements of CISPR 16 standards. These antennas are intended for use with the R&S ESW EMI test receiver for full compliance testing.

The event will also feature a demonstration of speed-optimized EMI testing, generating 3D emission plots using the R&S ELEKTRA test software. Additionally, oscilloscopes such as the R&S RTO6 and MXO 5 will be shown in conjunction with EMC Partner to verify the performance of a high-voltage ESD generator according to standards like IEC 61000-4-2.

Rohde & Schwarz will also host three technical workshops covering current topics, including recent changes to CISPR 32, challenges posed by unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), and practical approaches to reverberation chamber measurements. The symposium brings together engineers, researchers, and academics to discuss electromagnetic compatibility across various industries.
