Rohde & Schwarz UK Sponsors 2024 Inter Service Championship Opening Match

Rohde & Schwarz UK has been named the match sponsor for the 2024 Inter Service Championship rugby tournament’s opening game. The fixture, scheduled for April 20 at Brickfields Stadium in Plymouth, will feature teams from the Royal Navy and the Royal Air Force.

The company, a provider of aerospace and defense technology, maintains a long-standing business relationship with the UK Armed Forces. According to Managing Director Gary Mackay, the sponsorship reflects the firm's ongoing support for the military community and the values associated with the services.

Cdr Alan Church (RN, retired), chair of the match committee, stated that corporate sponsorship plays a significant role in organizing the tournament and growing the sport within the individual services. This event marks the second consecutive year of the company’s involvement as the primary sponsor for the fixture.
