Rokid Integrates Voice-Based Ride-Hailing into AI Glasses with Tencent Partnership

Rokid has launched a ride-hailing service accessible via its AI glasses, a new offering developed in partnership with Tencent Mobility Services. Announced on October 16, the integration allows users to state a destination by voice and receive vehicle details and estimated arrival times displayed through the glasses.

The service connects Rokid’s voice assistant with Tencent’s travel service agent using the Agent-to-Agent protocol. Tencent's contribution includes functionalities such as destination recommendations, pickup point selection, searching for nearby vehicles, fare estimates, booking, and order status updates.

This collaboration extends the utility of Rokid's glasses beyond mere information display, enabling users to complete everyday service requests. Tencent has standardized its ride-hailing functions into callable services for wearable device assistants, incorporating payment support.
