Roku Hikes Streaming Hardware Prices Up To $50

Roku has increased the prices of its streaming hardware devices. The company's cheapest HD Streaming Stick now costs $39.99, up from $29.99, with other devices seeing increases of up to $50.

The Roku Ultra, the company's high-end player, now retails for $149.99, a jump from its previous $99.99 price point. Similarly, the Roku Streambar SE has also seen its price rise to $149.99 from $99.99.

Other models like the Streaming Stick Plus are now priced at $59.99, an increase from $39.99. The Streaming Stick 4K has also been affected, now costing $79.99, up from $49.99.

The price adjustments come as the streaming market continues to evolve, with companies assessing their hardware strategies. Roku is currently offering some devices at their original prices through a sale event.
