Roland Foods Acquires Savor Brands, Partners with Dot Foods for Distribution
Roland Foods has acquired Savor Brands from Dot Foods and entered into a distribution agreement for Dot Foods' nationwide network. The deal expands Roland Foods' product portfolio and enhances customer access.

New York and Mt. Sterling, Ill. – Roland Foods, a purveyor of global ingredients, and Dot Foods, a food industry consolidator, announced a strategic partnership. Under the agreement, Roland Foods will acquire Savor Brands from Dot Foods and receive an equity interest in Roland Foods. A commercial agreement also allows Dot Foods to distribute Roland® and Savor® products through its nationwide redistribution network.
The partnership aims to provide customers with access to a broader product offering and more options for ordering and receiving goods. Savor will add new products, including a frozen portfolio and expanded global ingredients, to Roland Foods' offerings. Roland® products are expected to be available through Dot Foods starting in early 2027.
"Savor is a strong fit with Roland Foods, both in the products it offers and in the way the team approaches quality and service," said Keith Dougherty, CEO of Roland Foods. "Just as important, our new distribution relationship with Dot will make it easier for more customers to buy from us." Joe Tracy, Chairman and CEO of Dot Family Holdings, stated that the combination of Roland's sourcing expertise and Dot's supply chain capabilities creates a powerful import solution.
Financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed. Roland Foods, Savor, and Dot Foods will continue to operate as usual until the transaction closes. Existing customer orders, terms, and contracts will remain in place. Further details on the commercial rollout will be provided in the coming months.
