Rolf Sass Sørensen Appointed TETRAPHARM CEO
Rolf Sass Sørensen has been appointed Chief Executive Officer of TETRAPHARM, effective October 6, 2026, succeeding co-founder Martin Rose.

TETRAPHARM, Copenhagen, Oct. 9, 2026 – TETRAPHARM has appointed Rolf Sass Sørensen as Chief Executive Officer, effective October 6, 2026. Sørensen succeeds Martin Rose, who co-founded the company in 2018 with Jesper Breum. Rose and Breum will now pursue new biotechnology ventures while retaining their shareholder status in TETRAPHARM.
The leadership change occurs as TETRAPHARM advances its novel drug molecules and proprietary delivery technologies, alongside its contract development and manufacturing (CDMO) services for pharmaceutical partners. Sørensen is tasked with leading the company's continued development in collaboration with the Board of Directors and the organization.
Sørensen brings over 30 years of experience, including senior roles in investor relations and corporate communications. Previously Vice President of Investor Relations & Communications at Bavarian Nordic, he possesses extensive knowledge of the life sciences sector and the interplay between biotechnology firms and capital markets.
TETRAPHARM's R&D pipeline includes drug candidates in preclinical development. The company also provides CDMO services centered on its proprietary ZYNDIKATE® drug delivery platform. Co-founders Rose and Breum will remain shareholders.
