ROMTech Delayed Revenue to Strengthen Home Rehabilitation Services
ROMTech, a provider of remote orthopedic rehabilitation devices, deliberately slowed its growth in 2025 to enhance operational infrastructure and clinical oversight.

In 2025, ROMTech, a company producing connected rehabilitation devices for home use after orthopedic surgery, faced demand exceeding its immediate capacity. CEO Peter Arn opted to defer revenue by deliberately moderating expansion.
Instead of rapid scaling, the company prioritized strengthening its operational infrastructure and clinical oversight. This strategic decision allowed the service model to catch up with demand and improve system robustness.
The approach led to record patient volumes, with over 57,000 patients served in 2025, marking a 34% year-over-year increase. Arn stated, "Sustainable growth in healthcare has to prioritize quality, safety and patient outcomes. In this industry, growing faster than your ability to deliver isn’t ambition. It’s risk."
ROMTech's focus on measured growth aligns with the broader industry trend shifting towards home-based care solutions, aiming to improve patient convenience and access to therapy.
