ROMTech Recognized for AI Remote Patient Monitoring Solution
ROMTech has received Newsweek's AI Impact Health Award for its AI-enabled remote patient monitoring system, improving rehabilitation outcomes.

Brookfield, Conn. – ROM Technologies Inc. (ROMTech) has been named the winner of the "AI Impact – Remote Patient Monitoring" category in the 2026 Newsweek AI Impact Health Awards. The award recognizes the company's artificial intelligence-driven remote patient monitoring solution designed to enhance rehabilitation care beyond traditional clinical settings.
The ROMTech solution, titled "Predictive Recovery," utilizes AI to analyze patient rehabilitation data collected at home via the company's PortableConnect® platform. The system identifies changes in a patient's condition that may indicate a need for further clinical attention, enabling earlier intervention.
"Winning the Newsweek AI Impact Health Award is an important validation of where we believe rehabilitation is headed," said Peter Arn, CEO of ROMTech. "Remote monitoring has already given clinicians greater visibility into what happens between appointments. AI makes that information even more useful by identifying meaningful changes in recovery earlier and helping clinicians focus their attention where it can have the greatest impact."
ROMTech's technology has been used to treat over 200,000 patients nationwide, generating data that informs the company's AI development. The company has previously received recognition from publications including Fast Company and MedTech Breakthrough.
