RoseBerry Media Recuts Neighbours Soap Opera into 'Microdramas' for Epis Platform

RoseBerry Media has begun recutting episodes of the Australian soap opera Neighbours into short-form "microdramas." These edited clips will be made available on Epis, a streaming platform focused on vertical video.

The original Neighbours series ran for 41 seasons from 1985 to 2025. For this initial launch, RoseBerry is focusing on recutting two storylines from the late 2000s. One of these featured a character played by Margot Robbie, who has since achieved international fame.

In a statement regarding the project, RoseBerry co-founder and CEO Guy Hameiri described Neighbours as "an iconic piece of television history." He indicated that the series is well-suited for adaptation to vertical viewing using the company's proprietary technology.

The initiative aims to repurpose existing television content for a new generation of viewers accustomed to short-form, mobile-first video consumption. Epis specifically caters to this trend by hosting vertically oriented, bite-sized content.
