German football club Rot-Weiss Essen has entered an active preparation phase for the upcoming season. The team has traveled to Bad Griesbach as part of its training camp, a crucial element for readiness ahead of the league season.
The club has also strengthened its squad with new signings. Max Geschwill has been acquired for the defense. Additionally, forward Semir Telalovic has joined on loan from 1. FC Nürnberg. These acquisitions aim to bolster the team's structure before the season commences.
Rot-Weiss Essen has also released its fixture list for the upcoming season. The team will start the league campaign away against Saarbrücken, with the first home match scheduled against Havelse. In the DFB-Pokal, they will face FC St. Pauli in the first round, and in the Niederrheinpokal, they are set to play against SV Sonsbeck.
