Rubis Appoints New Members to Management Committee
Rubis has named new executives to key leadership roles, including strategy, finance, and sustainability. The changes aim to support the company's transformation.
Paris, France – March 7, 2024 – Rubis, an energy and services group, announced today several nominations and changes to its Management Committee, effective immediately.
Bruno Krief has been appointed Managing Director in charge of Strategy and M&A. Krief has played a significant role in the company's development since its inception and will now focus on steering the group's strategic direction and merger and acquisition activities.
Marc Jacquot has been named Group Chief Financial Officer, succeeding Krief in this role and joining the Group Management Committee. Jacquot brings 20 years of finance experience, most recently serving as CFO of Rubis Terminal JV. His expertise is expected to support the group's ongoing transformation as it enters a new phase of development.
Sophie Pierson joins the Group Management Committee as Chief Sustainability and Compliance Officer. Pierson, who joined Rubis six years ago, previously spent 10 years at TotalEnergies in various legal, ethics, and corporate social responsibility roles. She has established Rubis's sustainability and compliance department and was instrumental in developing the company's first CSR Roadmap 2022-2025. Her appointment is intended to position the company effectively for the energy transition and evolving regulatory landscape.
The company stated that these leadership adjustments will further focus the team on operational challenges while addressing strategy and transformation to secure the future across all its businesses.
