Rush Gold Corp. has released results from a recent ASTER satellite image processing study conducted over its Skylight property in Nevada. The company states the data indicates a widespread precious metal hydrothermal system, interpreted to be associated with a low-sulfidation epithermal gold-silver system.

The ASTER image analysis identified anomalies of iron, kaolinite clay, and silica quartz stretching over 1.2 kilometers. These findings align with previous exploration, including geochemical sampling and drilling, which indicated elevated gold, silver, and arsenic concentrations.

Rush Gold CEO Anthony Zelen commented that the ASTER study results provide better insights into the Skylight mineralization. The company believes these new findings will help guide exploration towards targets with the strongest potential to create shareholder value.

The Skylight property is located 60 kilometers northwest of Tonopah in the Royston Hills area of Nevada. Rush Gold characterizes the property as a significant, largely untested low-sulfidation epithermal gold-silver system. Further exploration is planned to test these identified areas.
