Ruukki Construction has introduced the Ruukki Expression® system, a complete facade solution that allows for custom images and patterns to be applied to building exteriors.
The system utilizes the Ruukki® Energy Panel System as its base, onto which durable tape applications featuring specific designs are affixed. These tapes can be custom-printed with virtually any image or logo, offering building owners extensive design possibilities to personalize their structures. The company highlights that the design options are virtually limitless.
Ruukki states that the tape applications are made from high-quality materials with excellent UV resistance. The taping process is performed at Ruukki's factory under controlled, dry conditions to ensure accuracy and strong adhesion. The panels are then packed and delivered to the construction site in the correct installation sequence, complete with layout drawings.
In addition to aesthetic customization, the underlying Ruukki® Energy Panel System is designed for energy efficiency. Its high level of airtightness can result in up to 20% savings on a building's energy costs and improve its energy classification. Ruukki notes that the Ruukki Expression® system provides a comprehensive solution, covering everything from design to final delivery.
