Wiesbaden. R+V Versicherung AG demonstrated significant community involvement during the recent "Wiesbaden Engagiert!" campaign. The insurer reported a record 340 employees participating across 29 teams, dedicating their time to various local social projects.
One project focused on the Jugendzentrum Erbenheim (JuZ Erbo), a youth center. A team of twelve R+V employees spent a full day undertaking renovation and improvement tasks. Their efforts included cleaning and repainting two on-site containers, renewing stairways, installing exterior lighting, and constructing and planting a raised garden bed.
Participants expressed pride in their accomplishments, highlighting the initiative as a valuable opportunity to blend professional skills with social contribution. The support from company management and financial backing from the R+V STIFTUNG were also credited as crucial factors for the projects' success.
Throughout the "Wiesbaden Engagiert!" week, R+V employees also provided support to local kindergartens, schools, and the Wiesbaden animal shelter. Several R+V project teams are scheduled to continue their work later in the fall and early winter.
