R+V Versicherung AG is actively promoting greener commuting options for its employees. Johannes Davieds, the company's mobility officer, highlighted that while private cars remain the dominant mode of transport, there's a notable increase in the use of public transportation and bicycles.

The company has invested in improving cycling infrastructure across its Wiesbaden locations, providing high-quality bike racks, secure parking for cargo bikes, and even repair stations. Additionally, employees can utilize company-provided Movelo service bikes and participate in the JobRad leasing program. Electric vehicle charging stations are also available at select R+V sites.

To bolster public transport usage, R+V offers subsidized 'Jobtickets' for train travel and can facilitate Bahncard subscriptions for employees undertaking regular business trips by rail. Future plans include relaunching a carpooling platform, 'two go', and organizing a dedicated mobility day.
