R+V Versicherung AG, an insurance firm, has released a new video showcasing its sales representatives participating in professional filming. This initiative aims to provide a media perspective on the company's sales work and the realities of film production.
The filming day began early at R+V's headquarters in Wiesbaden, where staff and the production crew convened. Despite the early start and mandatory COVID-19 testing, the atmosphere was relaxed. Director Carl Gehrmann reviewed the final details of the scenes to be shot before the representatives proceeded to makeup and wardrobe.
Shooting schedules included various scenarios, such as driving a car and client interactions. One scene was filmed outdoors, with a sales representative driving while a cameraman was seated in the back. Another scene, titled "The Way to the Office," required extensive setup by the crew, who managed lighting and marked actor positions on the floor with tape. The need for multiple takes and minor disruptions added a humorous element, according to participants.
Jens Hasselbächer, R+V's Head of Sales, provided his office for a scene, which sales representative Christina Hammerschmidt described as a personal highlight. The production culminated in an internal scene where a representative reviews an offer with a colleague and the sales head. Overall, the project offers a glimpse behind the scenes, allowing the sales representatives to engage in new roles.
