R+V Versicherung AG, a major player in the German insurance market, has opened applications for a Release Train Engineer (RTE) position within its Operations and IT department in Wiesbaden. The role focuses on the methodological and organizational leadership of the 'Kunde & Makler' (Customer & Broker) Agile Release Train (ART), which comprises multiple agile software development teams.

The primary responsibility of the RTE is to ensure flow, transparency, stability, and delivery capability at the ART level, driving continuous improvement. Acting as a servant leader and coach, the RTE will foster an environment conducive to effective collaboration among teams, product management, and architecture. A key objective is to advance the ART's agile maturity and promote a holistic approach to product development across the entire software lifecycle.

Candidates should possess a university degree in Informatics, Business Informatics, Business Administration, or a related field, along with several years of experience as an RTE supporting multiple software development teams. Profound knowledge of SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework), Scrum, and Lean-Agile principles is essential. Prior experience in the insurance or financial sector is advantageous but not mandatory.
