R+V Versicherung Appoints Marc Michallet to Board for Finance and Investments
R+V Versicherung AG has appointed Marc Michallet to its Management Board as of January 1, 2015, overseeing Finance and Capital Investments. He succeeds Rainer Neumann.
German insurer R+V Versicherung AG has announced a significant change in its executive leadership. The company's Supervisory Board has appointed Marc Michallet, 46, to its Management Board, effective January 1, 2015, with responsibility for Finance and Capital Investments.
Michallet will take over from Rainer Neumann, who has led the finance department for 21 years and is retiring at the end of 2014. Michallet has been with R+V since June 2012, serving as Head of Securities Portfolio Management for the R+V Insurance Group. He brings extensive international experience in capital markets and financial solutions.
His career began in 1996 at Hypovereinsbank, followed by over 14 years in leading positions at various international banks in London. Michallet holds a degree in Economics from the University of Regensburg and an MBA from the USA.
The appointment reflects R+V's strategy for leadership continuity and development within the evolving insurance sector. Michallet is expected to focus on maintaining the company's financial stability and advancing its investment strategies.
