Ryanair and Amadeus form distribution partnership

Irish airline Ryanair and travel technology company Amadeus have entered into a distribution agreement that will broaden access to Ryanair's content for Amadeus' customers. The partnership is set to take effect from the end of 2022.

Ryanair, which operates 3,000 daily flights to 225 destinations across 36 countries, aims to increase its visibility and reach to Amadeus customers, particularly for business travel. The company states that the collaboration will streamline the search, booking, and servicing of flights through the Amadeus Travel Platform.

As Europe's largest low-cost carrier, Ryanair plays a significant role in the post-pandemic travel recovery. The airline also highlights its low carbon emissions per passenger kilometre and its commitment to achieving net-zero emissions by 2050.

Ryanair suggests the partnership will provide corporate customers with enhanced access to its network, frequent schedules, and low fares. Amadeus stated that the agreement demonstrates the value of its platform for low-cost carriers, offering them broad access to a global network of travel sellers and efficient distribution technology.
