Chinese technology company S-Speechocean has commenced pre-sales for its new Turbo E-paper book. The device aims to offer an enhanced reading experience by integrating advanced screen technology with artificial intelligence features.
The Turbo E-paper book utilizes an 8.4-inch "soft color, paper-like eye-friendly screen" with a 60Hz refresh rate, which the manufacturer claims is "10 times faster than an e-ink screen." It supports 4096 levels of pressure sensitivity with a professional Wacom stylus and covers 100% of the sRGB color gamut while filtering out 91.36% of harmful blue light.
Under the hood, the device is powered by an 8-core processor, complemented by 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. It is equipped with a 4500mAh battery, promising up to 8 hours of usage. The E-paper book supports the installation of third-party applications and offers 4G network connectivity, including a complimentary 24GB data plan.
Furthermore, the Turbo E-paper book incorporates several AI functions, such as intelligent meeting classification, schedule reminders, and knowledge management. It also features an 8-megapixel rear camera capable of capturing images for note-taking. The product is currently available for pre-order at a price of 2899 yuan.
