Saab expands cooperation with Polish firms PGZ and WB Group
Saab has entered into new agreements with Polish defense manufacturers PGZ and WB Group to advance joint industrial capabilities.

Swedish defense and security company Saab has formalized new cooperation agreements with Poland’s Polska Grupa Zbrojeniowa (PGZ) and WB Group. These agreements follow the initial partnerships established between the entities in September 2025.
The agreement with PGZ focuses on developing local maintenance, repair, and overhaul capabilities for submarines in connection with the Polish Orka submarine procurement program. The deal with WB Group targets advancements in autonomous maritime systems, the Gladius unmanned aerial system, and platforms for the Future Task Force.
Saab CEO Micael Johansson noted that these agreements represent a step in strengthening industrial ties between Sweden and Poland. The collaboration aims to share technical knowledge to develop capabilities that support security and stability in the Baltic Sea region and Europe.
The new terms clarify the strategic direction for the next phase of collaboration between the companies, building on the foundation established by the 2025 agreements.
