Saab increases holding in Cold Cut Systems

Swedish defense and security company Saab has increased its shareholding in Cold Cut Systems Svenska AB (CCS) to 27 percent. Lars Hellström was appointed the new CEO in connection with the new share issue.
The investment aims to support CCS's future growth and is part of Saab's strategic investments in the civil security sector. Cold Cut Systems' products for firefighting and rescue work complement Saab's portfolio of systems for emergency services.
Cold Cut Systems is described as a fast-growing and profitable company that develops products for extinguishing fires and rescue operations. The company currently serves customers in 29 countries, with sales of SEK 45 million last year. One of its notable products is the COBRA 'cutting extinguisher,' developed in collaboration with Swedish rescue services.
