Saab receives SEK 1.2 billion order for air defence system from Finland
Saab has received an order from the Finnish Defence Forces Logistics Command for the RBS 70 NG air defence system. The contract is valued at SEK 1.2 billion and includes options for future purchases.
Swedish defence company Saab announced it has signed a contract and received an initial order from the Finnish Defence Forces Logistics Command for its RBS 70 NG air defence missile system. The value of this initial order is SEK 1.2 billion.
The contract also provides Finland with the option to place additional future orders for the RBS 70 NG system, along with training, spare parts, and maintenance equipment. The system is designed for short-range air defence.
Saab stated that the RBS 70 NG provides a modern capability to counter evolving aerial threats and will contribute to Finland's ability to secure its airspace.
This order reinforces Saab's presence in the Nordic defence market and highlights demand for its air defence technology.
