Saab Reports Record Order Bookings for 2025

Defense and security company Saab has published its 2025 annual report, indicating substantial growth in order bookings and financial performance. The company reported achieving a record order backlog and significant sales increases throughout the year.

In the fourth quarter, Saab secured new orders totaling SEK 100,111 million, a notable increase compared to the previous year. Full-year sales reached SEK 27,697 million, representing an organic sales growth of 34.5%. Growth was observed across all business areas, with particular strength in the Surveillance and Dynamics segments.

Earnings Before Interest and Taxes (EBIT) rose by 67% to SEK 3,261 million, achieving an 11.8% margin. The net income for the fiscal year amounted to SEK 2,569 million. The company stated that strong market momentum and a robust order backlog allow for an upward revision of the medium-term organic sales growth target.

"I am pleased to end the year with strong results for order bookings, sales, operating income, and operational cash flow in the quarter," said Micael Johansson, President and CEO of Saab. "2025 was a record year for Saab where we secured several important orders and continued to see high demand. At the same time, we continue to invest in capacity expansion and new capabilities to build for future growth."
