Saalfelden Leogang to Host Mountain Bike World Cup and Celebrate Bikepark Anniversary

Saalfelden Leogang is preparing to welcome the world's elite mountain bikers for the WHOOP UCI Mountain Bike World Series, scheduled for June 11-14, 2026. This event is a significant fixture on the series calendar and is expected to draw considerable international attention.

In addition to hosting the World Series, the region's EPIC Bikepark Leogang will celebrate its 25th anniversary in 2026. What began as a concept with four trails has evolved into one of Europe's premier biking destinations. The anniversary celebrations are set to include competitions, community events, an expo area, and a night whip-off competition.

The region's culinary scene has also received accolades, with seven restaurants in Saalfelden Leogang collectively earning 19 Gault Millau points, reinforcing its standing as a gastronomic destination.

Saalfelden Leogang Touristik GmbH reported that 12 out of 16 summer lifts are currently operational, and 15 out of 34 bike trails are open for the season.
