SaaS firm BUSINESSNEXT raises $40 million investment

AI-powered enterprise SaaS company BUSINESSNEXT has announced the closure of its Series C funding round, raising $40 million from ServiceNow Ventures. The investment values the startup at $700 million, with ServiceNow Ventures acquiring a 5% stake in the business.

The capital injection is earmarked for accelerating agentic AI-led autonomous banking operations, developing private AI systems, and expanding BUSINESSNEXT's international presence, with a specific focus on Australia and New Zealand. The partnership also includes integrating ServiceNow's AI platform into BUSINESSNEXT's offerings.

Founded in 2001, BUSINESSNEXT provides software solutions for banks, insurers, and other financial institutions, managing customer relationships, digital journeys, lending, and service operations. Its agentic AI capabilities automate tasks such as loan processing, document verification, and customer support.

The company reports serving over 120 financial institutions globally, including major banks in India. BUSINESSNEXT operates in a competitive landscape against firms like Salesforce and Microsoft. This latest funding round reflects a broader trend of increased investor interest in AI-native enterprise software companies, particularly those serving regulated industries like finance.
