Saber Healthcare Data Breach Under Investigation for Potential Class Action
Law firm Edelson Lechtzin LLP is investigating a data breach at Saber Healthcare that exposed patient and employee information. The breach was discovered in July, and its full scope remains unclear.

Saber Healthcare, an Ohio-based provider of senior care services, is facing an investigation into a significant data breach that may have compromised the personal information of thousands of individuals. National class action law firm Edelson Lechtzin LLP has initiated an inquiry to determine if Saber Healthcare violated data privacy laws.
The company discovered unauthorized activity within its computer systems on July 27, 2026. Saber Healthcare subsequently secured its network and engaged a third-party forensic expert. An investigation concluded on August 19, 2026, confirmed that an unauthorized party may have accessed personal data.
Saber Healthcare reported the incident on its website and notified state Attorneys General, including those in South Carolina, Texas, and Vermont, in late September. To date, over 3,025 residents in South Carolina, 269 in Texas, and 25 in Vermont have been identified as potentially affected. The complete extent of the breach has not yet been publicly confirmed.
The exposed information could include names, dates of birth, Social Security numbers, government identification details, health insurance and medical records, and financial account information.
