Safe Group Expands in Latin America, Secures FDA Clearance
Safe Group has expanded its presence in Latin America with a distribution agreement in Brazil and secured FDA 510(k) clearance for SpineUp's Frida solution. The company also released its 2023 annual financial report.
Safe Group, a company focused on healthcare devices, has solidified its footprint in Latin America by entering a distribution agreement in Brazil in January 2026. This move follows earlier expansion announcements in Venezuela in June 2026 and a broader expansion into the Latin American market in May 2026.
In product development, Safe Group's subsidiary, SpineUp, received FDA 510(k) clearance for its Frida solution in June 2025. This clearance permits the product to be marketed within the United States.
The company also made its 2023 annual financial report available in November 2024. This release came after Safe Group emerged from receivership earlier that month. Prior to this, the company had been involved in legal proceedings concerning its recovery plans, including a hearing at the Paris Commercial Court in October 2024.
Safe Group has been actively working to strengthen its market position and financial stability through various agreements and clearances.
